Foundation Course for Acrylic/Gel/Silk & Fibreglass

You will learn

• Structure of the nail and anatomy of the hand
• Full client consultation
• Salon hygiene and sanitation
• Contraindications - diseases and disorders
• Nail plate preparation
• Tip application and blending
• Tip and overlay system including pink & white sculpting
• Infill and re-balancing techniques, the safe removal of enhancements
• Industry background information
• Business hints and tips
• Retailing and link-selling skills

You will need

• To compile a portfolio of written and photographic evidence of treatments
• To complete a written exam and practical assessment

Duration

• 5 day course over a 6 week period
• 10am - 4pm daily

Course Requirements

Qualified in manicure preferred but not essential
